ROC the Holidays
Hello again, it’s me, Joseph and I’m decking the halls with some fa la la, because let me tell you, dear reader, there is so much to do and see in our fair city. Make your list and check it twice because there are many ways to make merry in Rochester and support local businesses too! (#smallbusinessesmatter)
ROC Holiday Village just opened! 13 days of fun!
“Delighting people of all ages, Roc Holiday Village 2021 presents 13 days of enchanting festivities on varying dates from December 3 to December 19. The downtown festival features outdoor seating and fire pits, free ice skating and skate rentals, a unique shopping village, and indoor bar with tasty food and drinks, free visits with Santa, tree lighting, hand-crafted goods, cozy winter igloos, free crafts for kids, holiday celebrations, live music, private events, nightlife and more…’
Holidays at the Public Market are in full swing!
A Rochester holiday tradition for over 26 years, Holidays at the Market features dozens of holiday-focused vendors (fresh-cut trees and wreaths, decorations, specialty foods and beverage products, hand craft items, and much more!) Holidays at the Market run on three Sundays in December: November 28, December 5, December 12 from 8 AM – 2 PM, and an evening event on Thursday, December 16 from 6 PM – 9 PM.
The Market will be decked out in holiday lights, festive music, and have limitless local shopping and unique gift items. This year, Santa and the horse-drawn carriage rides are BACK from 9 AM -2 PM on Sundays, and 6-9 PM on Thursday, December 16. We will feature a virtual holiday scavenger hunt, and have fun for the whole family! ”
Blue Barn Cidery Cookie Decorating and Free Drink
“Beginner Cookie Decorating and Cider Sipping! Learn how to create beautiful cookies for your Christmas table. FREE DRINK! No experience needed! ”
Mark your calendar for Thursday, December 16th to check out the South Wedge Market. “We will have a host of great local vendors inside 357 Gregory Street with many great items that can be used for gifts (or just to treat yourself)!”
Fun for all and if you’re on this side of town you have to check out Shamrock Jack’s Christmas tree made from Jameson bottles, and then of course stop in for one of your favorite beverages.
North, South, East, West and right in the middle of the city, there are some great holiday adventures waiting to be had. And as it would happen, there’s a PineappleRoc Rental nearby all of them so why not take your jingle and mingle to the next level and stay at one of our properties! Don’t forget you can also give the gift of a PineappleRoc Rental stay! Contact us today!
We wish you peace and light and all things merry and bright this holiday season!
Joseph and Ricky
