Hello again, it’s me, Joseph and I’m on the move.  During the summer months it’s so important to take advantage of every opportunity to be out and about and enjoying the warmer weather.  We totally get the vibe of Netflix and chill, however, consider catching the big screen in a different venue:  outdoor movies in Rochester NY!  Here are a few of favorites:

Movies in the Park

There’s still plenty of time to catch these movies in whatever park you choose!  Some movie nights also include additional activities for the whole family!

  • Rookie of the Year (July 27 — Innovative Field)
  • Rogue One (August 11 – Highland Park)
  • Hook (August 18 – Mendon Ponds Park)
  • Raiders of the Lost Ark (September 1 – Black Creek Park)

Pittsford Movie Nights

These movie nights are in different locations throughout Pittsford.  They’re on Thursday nights and include food trucks!  Get all the details on their website!

  • The Bad Guys (July 27th)
  • Light Year (August 10 th)
  • Clifford the Big Red Dog (August 24th)

Movies with a Downtown View

This movie night is back on Parcel 5 and it’s FREE!

There’s still time to catch the last two showings:

  • Friday, August 25th: Soul

  • Friday, Sept. 8th: Top Gun Maverick

Parma Town Park

Parma Town Park will be holding their Movie Under the Stars night to kick off Labor Day Weekend!  Although there is no cost, registration is required to see the Super Mario Movie!

Drive In Movies

Of course, no discussion of outdoor movies in Rochester NY would be complete without mentioning the local drive in theaters.

Silver Lake Drive In– Open 7 days a week!

If you’re a big time DIY person, you can make your own backyard theater!
